Every time I see the excellent performances of the actors on the stage, I am so amazed. In fact, behind their successful performances, there is also a part of the stage lighting and studio lighting design. Nowadays, many institutions, colleges, associations, enterprises, etc. have built their own halls, auditoriums, multi-purpose halls and other entertainment venues. They need to be equipped with some corresponding professional lighting and studio lighting equipment. Due to the lack of understanding of stage lighting and studio lighting, I don’t know how to choose the right one. Professional lighting equipment, and many professional lighting equipment sellers are also ignorant of professional stage lighting equipment and cannot give correct guidance to incur a waste of funds. In order to prevent unnecessary waste from appearing, today's VanGaa will give you some simple understanding of the basic common sense of stage lighting and studio lighting.
The relevant requirements of stage lighting and studio lighting design are to meet the use requirements of large-scale song and dance evenings, cultural performances, dramas, concerts and large-scale conferences, and some simple requirements must be followed first.
First, the common light position of stage lighting
If you want to do a good job in the configuration of professional stage lights, you must first understand the common light positions of stage lights, which is an important part of the correct selection of configuration.
1. Face light: The light projected from the top of the audience to the stage is mainly used for the front lighting of the characters and the basic light spread of the whole set.
2. Slap: Located on both sides of the outside of the stage, the light projected obliquely on the stage is divided into upper and lower layers, mainly to help face light, enhance facial lighting, and increase the flatness of characters and scenery.
3. Pillar light (also known as side light): The light projected from both sides of the entrance is mainly used for lighting on both sides of characters and scenes to increase the sense of plane and outline.
4. Top light: The light projected from the top of the stage to the stage, from front to back, is divided into one row of top light, two rows of top light, three rows of top light, etc. It is mainly used for general stage lighting to increase the stage illumination, and there are many scenes , fixed-point mapping of props.
5. Backlight: The light projected from the opposite direction of the stage (such as top light, bridge light, etc.) can outline the outline of characters and scenes, enhance the sense of planeness and transparency, and can also be used as a specific light source.
6. Bridge light: The light projected to the stage at the bridges on both sides of the stage is mainly used to assist the column light to enhance the sense of plane, and also used for other positions where the light position is inconvenient to project, and can also be used as a specific light source
7. Foot light: The light projected from the platform in front of the stage to the stage mainly assists the face light illumination and eliminates the shadows formed by the faces and jaws of the characters illuminated by the face light and other high positions.
8. Light emission from the sky and the earth: The light projected from the top and bottom of the canopy to the canopy is mainly used for the lighting and color changes of the canopy.
9. Active light: It is located on the movable light stand on both sides of the stage, mainly assisting bridge light, supplementing the light on both sides of the stage and other specific lights.
10. Chasing light: The light position required from the auditorium or other positions is mainly used to track the actor's performance or highlight a specific light, and it is also used to control the person. It is a feature of stage art and plays the role of finishing touch.
